Australia • States & Territories
Australia
15 places: six states, two mainland territories, and seven small territories, some far out at sea.
The Mainland
Six states and two territories share the continent and Tasmania. The Australian Capital Territory is a small pocket inside New South Wales.
Out West
Four specks in the Indian Ocean: Christmas Island and the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, south of Indonesia, Ashmore and Cartier Islands, off the northwest coast, and Heard Island and McDonald Islands, far south toward Antarctica.
Out East
Three more in the east: Jervis Bay Territory, on the coast south of Sydney, the Coral Sea Islands, reefs off Queensland, and Norfolk Island, between New Caledonia and New Zealand.
Where You'll Start
This deck has no anchors, so you'll start with the states and mainland territories. Then the small territories, or the whole deck at random.
