World • UN Countries
Every UN Member
All 193 member states of the United Nations. The chapters go round the world region by region, and the smallest countries need real zooming.
The Americas
35 countries, from Canada down to Chile and Argentina. Seven of the Caribbean's islands are small enough that a ring marks them until you zoom in.
Europe
45 countries packed close together, Russia and Türkiye (Turkey) among them. Six need zooming: Andorra, Monaco, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, San Marino, and Malta.
Africa
54 countries, from Morocco to South Africa, with island nations off both coasts: Cabo Verde (Cape Verde) and São Tomé and Príncipe in the Atlantic, and Madagascar, Comoros, Mauritius, and Seychelles in the Indian Ocean.
Asia
45 countries, from the Mediterranean to Japan. Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan are in West Asia here, and Bahrain, the Maldives, and Singapore need zooming.
The Pacific
Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea, then island nations spread wide across the ocean, most of them specks.
Where You'll Start
First come the 24 anchors, well-known countries all round the world, like Brazil, Egypt, and Japan, to hang the rest on. Then chapter by chapter, or the whole deck at random.
